Read for marriage
Marriage is the most-asked KP question, and the one most often answered badly elsewhere. Here is what Lumin actually does, so you know what to read.
The KP marriage question, in three layers
Lumin separates promise, period, and trigger. Most popular astrology collapses these into one verdict, which is why generic readings feel vague.
- Promise. Is marriage signified at all? Read from the cuspal sublord of houses 2, 7, and 11.
- Period. Which dasha periods activate those significators? Three levels deep: mahadasha, antardasha, pratyantardasha.
- Trigger. Saturn narrows to a 2.5-year window, Jupiter to the year, Sun to the month, Moon to the day.
What you will see in the answer
A complete reading produces between fifteen and forty tool calls. The layers are made explicit in the response, so you can verify the chain of reasoning rather than trust the summary. Look for these sections:
- The CSL verdict for marriage (ACTIVE, MIXED, DENIED).
- The fruitful significators, planets that appear in both the natal matrix and the current ruling planets.
- The timing hierarchy with specific dates.
If the verdict is MIXED
MIXED means both supporting and detrimental houses are signified. The outcome is sequential, not cancelled, typically a positive event followed by complications, or vice versa. Lumin will spell out which comes first based on which significators dominate the active dasha.
Specialist tools that fire on marriage questions
Phase 6 of the reading routes to whichever specialist matches your question. Common ones for marriage:
- get_marriage_advanced for second marriage, late marriage, and obstacles in the primary chain.
- get_compatibility_advanced when you have both birth profiles. Goes well past Ashtakoota into KP-style cuspal and significator overlap.
- get_marital_separation for separation, divorce timing, and the windows that signal reconciliation versus formal breakup.
- get_spouse_characteristics for likely partner traits drawn from the 7th cuspal sublord chain.
- get_extramarital_signature when the question is about fidelity rather than timing. Lumin runs this only if you ask.
