Ask better questions

The shape of your question changes the answer Lumin can give. Five small habits make readings sharper.

1. Be specific about the event

KP astrology resolves around 66 named life events: marriage, second marriage, foreign settlement, court verdict, and so on. The closer your question maps to one of those events, the cleaner the reading.

Weak: Will good things happen this year?
Strong: Is marriage timing favorable in the next 18 months?

2. State the time window

Without a window, Lumin defaults to a generic dasha snapshot. Naming a window forces it to scan transits and antardasha periods inside that range, which is what produces specific dates instead of platitudes.

3. Give context on the situation

If you are asking about a job change while one is already on the table, say so. KP differentiates promotion from job-change using the 5th house (12-from-6th, end of current employment). Knowing your real situation lets Lumin pick the right technique.

4. Ask one thing at a time

Lumin can chain phases of a single reading well. Stacking three unrelated questions into one prompt forces it to compress, and the weakest answer drags the others down.

5. Save horary for genuine decisions

Horary mode (the get_horary_chart_v2 path) reads the chart of this moment against your question, on the assumption that the moment matters. It works best when you are wrestling with an actual decision, not idle curiosity.

Tip

Lumin will tell you when a question is poorly framed for KP. For example, "will my soulmate come?" gets a polite redirect to "will marriage happen, and when?" because the second is answerable from the chart and the first is not.
