Harsha, 27, was told at a matching session that he is manglik, strong Mars affliction, and that marriage without a remedy ceremony would endanger the match. Two proposals have gone cold since the word got around. He set his birth profile, then asked this.
Mangal dosha has formation rules and a longer list of cancellation rules that casual checks skip. Lumin runs both, grades what survives, and says what tradition actually prescribes for the remainder.
The answer, condensed
Technically formed, and then mostly cancelled. Mars sits in your 7th house, which forms the dosha on paper. But two classical cancellations apply directly, Mars is in its own sign there, and your Moon chart shows no affliction at all. What survives is a mild residue, at the weak end of the scale.
What the residue means. A 7th house Mars in dignity reads as a spouse with heat and independence, and early years that need real adjustment. It is a temperament note, not a danger. Nothing in this chart supports the word "endanger".
What to actually do. The traditional answer for a residue this size is matching, not ceremony. Match with a chart that holds a comparable Mars signature, which is checked in any full compatibility reading. Tell the families the dosha was checked and largely cancelled, and bring the evidence.
The scare was a one-line check. The relief was the full rule set. When a dosha is real and strong, Lumin will say that just as plainly.
Make it sharper
- Say what you were told and by whom it matters to. A second opinion works best when Lumin knows the first opinion.
- Ask for the weight, not just the presence. Formed and strong are different findings.
- For gemstones, mention what you already wear. Stones are judged together, not one at a time.
